Cargo Blush Rome

Cargo-Rome-front

“Second to none” is how famed makeup artist Jackie Gideon describes our blushes. With professional formulations and a wide array of colors that range from neutral to vibrant, “our blushes have earned their place on sets of film and television and have become must-haves in makeup kits everywhere”.

With a range of 15 shades with such attractive names as Key Largo, Mallorca, Topeka or Amalfi, Cargo blushes have earned a well deserved respect among beauty bloggers around the world, becoming the brand’s most sought after product just behind its famous bronzers.

The blushes are packed in a large rounded metallic tin box, similar to the old tobacco ones, and contain quite a good amount of product, almost 9g, more than Benefit blushes, 8g, and more than twice the Chanel Powder Blush, 4g. The container is quite handy as allows with no problem the use of brushes of any size.

Rome described by the brand as a ‘soft tangerine’ might look a bit scary in the pan, it looks quite deep and dark, but it has a very smooth texture so when you apply it it’s much more subtle and sheer and allows you to build the color little by little.

The result is less tangerine than what i expected it to be, it is more of a bright coral than can look more like golden peach depending on the light, in the sunlight it has more of a golden glow due to the bit of shimmer (not too much) that it contains.

A pretty nice blush for daily use for Spring.
