Givenchy’s Heavenly Sweet Caramel

Givenchy-PrismeLibre-1

Prisme Libre Loose Powder Quartet Air Sensation

No powdery effect, nothing but light!

What it is:

Four shades of super lightweight, loose face powder.

What it is formulated to do:

Top off foundation or bare skin with these perfectly coordinated translucent loose powder quads. Each quartet glides over the skin like a silk veil for a soft, sheer, matte finish that stays put all day.

What makes its formula special:

-Particles of Titanium: Gives the complexion a transparent, slightly matte finish that lets the skin’s natural radiance show through.

-Co-Polymers: Hollow air-filled microspheres make the powder incredibly light, creating a texture that feels wonderfully natural on the skin.

Prisme Libre comes in 6 shades with 4 different tones of powder each:

01 Light Pastel: pale green, lavender, light blue, white

02 Delicate Beige: beige, warm pink, lavender, cream beige

03 Sweet Caramel: beige, peach, cream, medium beige

04 Tender Sun: light tan, soft apricot, bronze, soft bronze

05 Soft White: pale pink, pale yellow, light beige, pale peach

06 Fresh Pink: lavender, dark peach, light peach, warm pink.

03 Sweet Caramel: peach, beige, medium beige and cream.

Unlike my latest Givenchy disappointment (Phenomen’eyes mascara), this is absolutely worth its price, actually its price is the only low note i find in this product, for 46€ you’d better make sure you are gonna make a good use of this and that you get the right shade.

This powder is amazing, it melts with the skin leaving a wonderful velvety feeling to it, never patchy or thick, very smooth but so effective that gives you a beautiful skin even just by themselves, in the photos i’m wearing it without foundation, just my usual oil free moisturizer and a normal concealer under the eyes and the coverage is perfect.

Another great thing is that the application sponge that comes with it is fantastic, very soft and provides a great coverage with a minimum amount of product (which is a key factor considering the price).

When purchasing this, it is very important to get advice from the Givenchy staff in the counter about the right shade for your skin tone. If it wasn’t for that i would have gone straight away to get ’01 Light pastel’, apparently the fairest shade, but the nice Givenchy lady    advised me well and gave me 03, as it seems than more than being more or less pale the main thing is your skin undertone/s. And she got it absolutely right as 03 is perfect for me, it improves my skin tone not only with a velvet feeling but also with a warm glow. A match made in heaven!
