IT’S LOVE AT FIRST BITE: a vampire rendition by Essence

Honestly, i’m not the biggest fan of the ‘Twilight’ saga (even more honestly, I hate both books and movies), so when I saw on the Essence display stand, a brand that I do tend to like, that they had released a limited collection honoring the last film in the series (not quite the last, apparently, and unfortunately there is still another one coming next year), i didn’t bother paying any attention to it.

Fortunately this palette was quite exposed to the view, so while having a good look at the brand’s iExtreme mascara, from the corner of my eye some colors caught my attention and I decided to take a good look and i did not regret it, of course i had to stick my fingertips in those shadows and I immediately loved both the texture, so easy to blend, and the colors, so greatly pigmented. It’s name is ‘Love at first bite’ (which sort of reminds me of some crappy movie from the early 80′s, or was it late 70′s? who knows…) and the price is about 4.5 €, excellent for a palette full of shades that are absolutely perfect for New Year’s Eve party looks.

From the same collection, both the ‘gelee blush’ and the ‘lipstain’ seem to be quite interesting too, but I’d better hurry as all Essence limited collections seem to sell pretty quickly.

Totally recommended, even if you are not a big fan of whiny and softy vampires.
